FramingMobility is a proudly South African initiative dedicated to introducing frame running to people with disabilities across our country.
While frame running is popular in developed countries, it remains inaccessible in many developing settings due to cost barriers. Our goal is to make frame running accessible to all people with disabilities in South Africa by providing affordable equipment and establishing inclusive programs.
Our vision is to facilitate access and mobility for people with disabilities in South Africa through frame running.
The benefits of exercise for people with disabilities
Exercise plays a crucial role in enhancing the lives of children and youth with disabilities and into their adult life. Contrary to past misconceptions, research over the last 50 years has consistently shown that regular exercise improves muscle strength, functional ability, cardiovascular health, and overall quality of life for people with disabilities.
